Monetary donations are the fastest way to help us accomplish our mission to protect Nēnē and enhance their habitats across Hawaiʻi. This allows us the flexibility to quickly respond to new issues while continuing to gather vital data, foster public involvement through community science, and strengthen connections between people and native species. In 2023 87% of donations went directly towards predator control in critical habitat for Nēnē and we removed 406 mongoose.
